Professor Augustine Nduka Eneanyais a Professor of Public Administration and Policy at the University of Lagos. He had his early education at St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and Akwukwu-Igbo Grammar School, where he excelled academically, earning a state merit scholarship. He began his career in the Bendel State Civil Service in 1976, later becoming a Cooperative Inspector after topping his class at the Cooperation College, Benin-City.
He obtained his B.Sc. from the University of Calabar in 1985 and became a Chartered Personnel Manager in 1993 with an award-winning research project. His professional experience spans roles at Afro-Continental Ltd, Wayne (W.A.) Ltd, and Eurobridge Industries Ltd, culminating as Managing Consultant at Ausbeta Ltd. He joined the University of Lagos in 2007 and rose to the rank of Professor through excellence in teaching, research, and service. He has supervised over 600 postgraduate and undergraduate students. Professor Eneanya has authored 10 textbooks, 10 e-books, and 65 scholarly articles in reputable international and local journals.
He served as sole editor for three books published by IGI-Global, USA. His academic excellence earned him the “Distinguished Scholar Award” by the Zambia Society of Public Administration in 2016. He is a Fellow and Member of several professional bodies, including FCP, CIPM, NIM, and ASPA. His research interests span public administration, policy, human capital, and environmental management. With 38 years of combined public and private sector experience, he is also a certified trainer and consultant. Beyond academia, he serves as a Pastor with the Living Faith Church.
