Managing Students Welfare and Conflict
Resolution is a dynamic sequence that provides you with an understanding
of young people and their transition into adolescence. Participants
will be engaged in discussing issues, strategies and options for working
with young people. The focus is on improving your practice as a
teacher, Lecturer or College Administrator. Schools want teachers with a
robust mix of skills given the diversity of children and young people
in the public setting.
Course Objectives
Defined confrontation and their role in
managing conflict among students to ensure they maximize individual and
learning performance
Identified their preferred style/s in
influencing others and managing conflict and the additional strategies
that they need to use to successfully resolve the conflict situation
Demonstrate their skills in resolving conflict and confrontation
Have identified a plan to apply and enhance their communication skills at school to address existing conflicts
