CeProd’s Maryam Abdu Appointed as First Finance Professor at Kaduna State University

groundbreaking move, the Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development
(CeProd) is proud to announce that Maryam Abdu, a member of its Governing
Council has been appointed as the first-ever Professor of Finance at Kaduna
State University, Nigeria.
This
historic promotion recognizes Abdu's exceptional dedication, scholarly
contributions, and profound impact in the field of finance. Her journey to this
prestigious professorship serves as an inspiration to aspiring academics,
reflecting her unwavering commitment to excellence.

work," said Dr. Chris Egbu, the Director-General of CeProd, speaking on

Abdu's
educational background includes a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ahmadu
Bello University, Zaria. She currently holds esteemed positions, such as the
Vice President of the Academy of Management Nigeria, and is a fellow of
prestigious organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers,
the Institute of Directors, and the Nigerian Institute of Management
(Chartered).
This
trailblazing appointment not only highlights Abdu's remarkable accomplishments
